For Projects
The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 provides flexibility for Qualified Opportunity Funds to invest in projects and businesses in Opportunity Zones that meet a community’s needs.
Projects may include starting a new business, investing new capital in existing businesses (e.g., acquiring a new piece of equipment), developing vacant real estate, or rehabilitating existing structures.
How can Opportunity Arkansas help?
Opportunity Arkansas can help project sponsors, communities and investors develop, assess, and promote projects that catalyze development for all involved.
- Assessing Opportunity Zone project eligibility and due diligence;
- Understanding and supervising the investment process from inception to investment, and report preparation;
- Developing project prospectus and factsheets;
- Connecting with investors inside and outside of Arkansas;
- Promoting Opportunity Zone projects.
